Leilani Galindo, originally from the Hawaiian islands, her upbringing has taught her much about respect and treating people with kindness. This influenced her to work towards using art to share that same aloha that Hawaiian culture puts into the world.  This also has influenced natural textures and vibrant colors in Leilani’s art. Many of her chosen themes deal with pacifc island cultures and mythology and designs around the world. 

She is now based in Portland Oregon where she finished her bachelors degree in Illustration at Pacific NorthWest College of art. Here she continues her exploration of indigenous cultures as well as localized cultural mythos.

 Leilani is using her art to share love and understanding of culture to much of the world.
